On December 19, the shelter sustained structural damage due to a fire in the attic. Over 80 dogs and cats were evacuated and placed into foster homes for weeks while repairs were made. The funds raised from the raffle will go towards the purchase a new 10-zone fire alarm system complete with
smoke detectors, horns, strobes, pull stations and heat detectors for
the attic. The cost of this new system is $15,800.
One lucky winner will win 50% of what we raise and the other
half will support our mission to offer care and compassion to homeless
pets in our community until they find safe and loving homes.

Tickets are on sale now at the shelter (829 S Depot, Maryville) or online. Ticket prices are as follows:
- $60 for 100 tickets + two movie passes (retail value $23)
- $20 for 20 tickets
- $10 for 3 tickets
- $5 for 1 ticket
RULES:
- Must be 18 years or older to enter.
- The raffle ends Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 3:00 pm.
- In the event of a weather postponement, the raffle will be extended. Rain date will be selected as needed
- Each ticket equals one entry into the raffle. There are no physical tickets - each ticket purchased will be assigned a random number virtually.
- If you choose to enter your own amount, you will be given an equal value of tickets. Example: $120 = 200 tickets, $50 = 43 tickets
- The winning ticket will be selected at random by a third-party program immediately following the golf tournament (approximately 6pm).
- Winner need not be local or present to win.
- Winner will be notified by phone/email. Winner will have 30 days to claim prize and arrange payout. Otherwise, another winner will be chosen at random.
- The winner will be announced on the shelter's Facebook page.
- Movie passes will be distributed after the raffle closes. While supplies last. Passes can be redeemed at The Hangar and are subject to any terms and conditions set by The Hangar.
