No appointment needed! All adoptions must have an approved application.

If traveling, we encourage potential adopters to submit an application in advance so we can follow up with landlord and vet references ahead of your visit.

2023 Outstanding Shelter Award

New Nodaway Humane Society awarded the 2023 Outstanding Animal Welfare Organization of the Year Award by the Missouri Animal Control Association (MACA).

The award is given to “recognize outstanding volunteer work within your community; efforts to promote animal welfare, rescue, and pet adoption; and continued dedication to people and pets in your region.”

Renew your dogs city tags for 2024.

Maryville requires all dogs – with owners living inside the city limits – to be registered and licensed each year.
