Animal Control
Our shelter services the community by acting as the local animal control unit. We are dedicated to giving shelter and care to lost, abused, or unwanted dogs and cats. In case of emergency or to notify us of an abused or abandoned animal please follow the procedure below.
During shelter hours please contact us at (660) 562-3333.
After shelter hours please verify your location and use the appropriate number below.
Inside Maryville City limits call Maryville Public Safety at 660-562-3209, they will dispatch us.
Outside Maryville City limits call the Sheriff’s Department at 660-582-7451, they will dispatch us if we have a contract with your area.
Lost Pets
When an animal is brought to us, we will scan it for a microchip and immediately call the owner if chipped. If the animal is not chipped, we will post a photo on our main Facebook page to help reconnect lost pets.
