Animal Care Attendants are responsible for providing appropriate kennel conditions by cleaning and disinfecting the kennels. The position also performs duties including feeding and watering the animals, reporting animal behavior or health concerns, and basic everyday maintenance including laundry and removal of trash. As an animal care attendant, you will also learn about animal control and how to respond to animal-related calls.

  • $14/HOUR! Raise after first 90 days.

  • Must be available to work weekends.

  • Must be willing to learn animal control and respond to calls in timely manner.

  • Must be available to be on call for after hour and weekend animal control calls. Pay for off-the-clock calls is $35 per run.

  • Must be 18 years or older.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.


Looking to earn a little extra money? Also accepting applications for those only interested in being on call for animal control. As an Animal Control Officer (ACO), you will respond to calls for service to assist citizens and law enforcement with animal-related concerns and educate the public on responsible pet ownership.
