Doggie Dates
Every Saturday from 12-4 p.m.
Doggie Dates are an opportunity for the public to check out a shelter dog for the day and take them on an outing away from the shelter. Popular activities include a walk on campus, a swim or hike at Mozingo Lake or a grabbing a snack at a drive-thru. Dogs can be picked up starting at noon and must be back at the shelter by 4 p.m. To reserve your favorite shelter dog, call 660-562-3333 or send a Facebook message.
